Labour is like sleeping. You need to feel safe, calm, without anxieties or worries in order for you to sleep.

You also need to feel physically comfortable as well as warm and preferably in a dark or low-light environment.

These elements are essential for you to lay your head down on the pillow and get a nice and refreshing night's sleep.

how would you imagine your dream night of sleep? How do you find yourself mentally, emotionally and physically? What is the environment in which you sleep, a messy room or a bed made up with soft sheets? Who is sleeping or sharing the space with you? How do you prepare for this night? A gentle massage with warm oils? A good bath with essential oils? A soothing herbal drink? And that lovely cuddle & snuggle from your partner? Maybe some soft music in the background or perhaps peaceful silence?
